Bundesliga — Player of the Month Prediction (October 2025)

Hello and Welcome to Bundesliga Player of the Month Predictions for October.
Fantastic month for a lot of teams: Bayern, Bayer, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Werder and Hoffie won 2 or more games this month and overall players should be included from those teams.
Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich)
Kimmich opened October with a strong personal and team performance. On 18 October, in Bayern’s 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund, he delivered the corner that led to Kane’s goal and helped his side maintain their perfect start. Then, on 25 October in the 3-0 win at Borussia Mönchengladbach, he scored the openerto extend Bayern’s record start. His contribution has been as much about stability and control in midfield as direct goal involvement.
Potential POTM would be cool, but would be too similar to his Scream Card. Would I like it? Yes. Would there be better candidates for community? Also yes.
Christoph Baumgartner (RB Leipzig)
Baumgartner had a standout October. On 4 October he scored early against Dortmund in a 1-1 draw, showing his sharpness inside fifteen minutes. Then on 18 October vs Hamburger SV he scored a brace in a 2-1 win, underlining his match-winning quality. He also managed to score 1 goal and get 1 assist in 6-0 win vs Augsburg. Despite Leipzig losing 1st game of the season to Bayern – they are now 2nd in table and playing fantastically under new coach. Great to see.
Baumi might finally get a special card, as he keeps getting robbed with IFs. Potentially 85 rated POTM with some nice stats and should be main candidate.
Andrej Kramarić (TSG Hoffenheim)
Kramarić has been a consistent goal threat at Hoffenheim, and his October performances reflect that. Hoffenheim GOAT scored and assisted 4 times this month with 1 goal\1 assist in 2 games: in 3-0 win vs St. Pauli and 3-1 win vs Heidenheim. May not be the best opponents, but Hoffe needed those wins and now they are sitting 7th in table. Kramaric should be nominated and his potential POTM might be very nice central card with some nice stats.
Marco Grüll (Werder Bremen)
Grüll’s early October form at Werder triggered some positive headlines. Werder started their season awfully, but those points vs Union and Heidenheim improved their position a lot. Grull scored in both games: winning goal vs Union and 1 goal vs Heidenheim in 2-2 draw. Should be enough for nominee, but I doubt he’ll win POTM.
Maximilian Mittelstädt (VfB Stuttgart)
Mittelstädt has been one of Stuttgart’s standout defensive/attacking full-backs this October. Stuttgart has insane streak of 5 wins in a row. Maxi scored and assisted in 2 out of 3 games: 1 winning assist vs Heidenheim and 1 goal in 3-0 win vs Wolfsburg. A lot of good performances overall around Stuttgart, but Maxi was my choice. Potentially decent POTM
Ernest Poku (Bayer Leverkusen)
Poku has been one of the younger attackers making the most of his minutes in October. He scored 2 goals and got 1 assist during Leverkusen’s fixtures in October and overall was their most prolific attacker. He should be nominated and it’s a close call for a potential win.
My POTM (October 2025) Prediction: Christoph Baumgartner
Given his 3 goals and 1 assist, Baumgartner delivered high-impact performances in October. A lot of positives for Leipzig this month and Baumi should be rewarded with POTM. If not him – Kramaric been amazing for Hoffenheim and carried them on several occasions.
