Introduction:
The much-anticipated Ultimate Scream promo has arrived in FC 26, bringing a host of terrifyingly good cards to Ultimate Team. With live upgrades tied to the full moon, these players are set to evolve and cause nightmares for your opponents. But not all screams are created equal. We’ve broken down Team 1 and ranked every player, from the meta-defining monsters to the SBC fodder.

Let’s dive into the tier list.

S-Tier:

These are the absolute best players from the release. They are game-changers who will instantly elevate your squad.

Vini Jr.'s FC26 Ultimate Team card - 90 OVR ST with 5-star skills, showing pace 95, shooting 88, passing 81, dribbling 92, defending 30, physicality 75

The undisputed king of this promo. Vini combines the meta Low Driven+, Quick Step, and Rapid PlayStyles with a Finesse Shot and a Role++ at LM. He is an end-game attacker in October.

Rafael Leao's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 86 OVR ST with 5-star skills, showing pace 94, shooting 80, passing 82, dribbling 88, defending 31, physicality 77

Finesse+, 5-star skills, and the deadly combination of Quick Step, Rapid, and Trickster. Leão is the complete package at striker and is easily one of the most dangerous cards in the game right now.

Debinha's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 89 OVR RW with 5-star skills, showing pace 87, shooting 82, passing 87, dribbling 92, defending 48, physicality 78

Her Inform was already hyped, but this card is on another level. Her previous flaw was the Trickster+, but now she gets the far more effective Quick Step+. She is an elite-tier dribbler and creator.

Saeed Al Owairan's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 86 OVR ST with 4-star skills, showing pace 95, shooting 84, passing 81, dribbling 87, defending 37, physicality 74

Don’t be fooled by the seemingly small stat upgrade. The addition of Finesse and Low Driven PlayStyles, plus new in-game Roles, transforms him back into the menace we all remember. He’s back, and he’s terrifying.

A-Tier:

These players are just a step below the gods, offering incredible value and performance.

Javier Mascherano's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 89 OVR CDM with 3-star skills, showing pace 78, shooting 56, passing 80, dribbling 81, defending 90, physicality 87

A perfect modern CDM. The Pinged Pass+ is a fantastic addition, but it’s the combination with Long Ball, Tiki Taka, and Intercept that makes him elite. He’s not just a destroyer; he’s a deep-lying playmaker.

Antonio Di Natale's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 89 OVR LW with 4-star skills, showing pace 91, shooting 92, passing 87, dribbling 91, defending 50, physicality 72

With 4-star/4-star and the coveted Finesse+, Di Natale is a clinical finisher. He just lacks the extra top-tier PlayStyles of the S-Tier attackers to push him over the edge.

Joshua Kimmich's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 89 OVR RB with 3-star skills, showing pace 81, shooting 74, passing 89, dribbling 85, defending 85, physicality 80

While he didn’t receive a rating boost, the addition of Jockey+ is a massive win, especially after the recent buff to that PlayStyle. He’s now one of the most agile and effective defensive players you can use.

Marek Hamsik's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 88 OVR CM with 4-star skills, showing pace 84, shooting 88, passing 88, dribbling 87, defending 80, physicality 84

A very solid and well-rounded midfielder. He’s a great card but doesn’t feel like a significant enough upgrade over his base Hero to justify a spot in S-Tier.

Juan David Cabal's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 85 OVR CB with 3-star skills, showing pace 82, shooting 50, passing 80, dribbling 76, defending 85, physicality 80

A rock-solid addition at centre-back. With great pace for a CB (82) and well-rounded defending (85) and physical (80) stats, he’s a reliable option with the added Anticipate+ makes him an interesting card.

B-Tier:

Good, usable players who can definitely do a job for your team, but come with a few compromises.

Sakina Karchaoui's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 88 OVR LB with 5-star skills, showing pace 90, shooting 78, passing 88, dribbling 89, defending 80, physicality 70

An excellent fullback with fantastic stats across the board. Unfortunately, she’s held back by the niche Trickster+, which simply isn’t as effective as other top-tier PlayStyles.

Nathan Tella's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 86 OVR CAM with 3-star skills, showing pace 88, shooting 83, passing 86, dribbling 86, defending 56, physicality 70

An underrated gem in this team. With Pinged Pass, Incisive Pass, and Tiki Taka, he’s a brilliant playmaker at CAM who can unlock any defence. Don’t sleep on this card.

Madison Haley's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 85 OVR RW with 4-star skills, showing pace 90, shooting 81, passing 83, dribbling 84, defending 50, physicality 80

Very strong stats with 90 Pace and key PlayStyles like Quick Step and Rapid. She can play across the front line, but a 3-star weak foot is a significant drawback that keeps her in B-Tier.

Bryan Mbeumo's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 87 OVR ST with 4-star skills, showing pace 89, shooting 87, passing 81, dribbling 86, defending 51, physicality 78

The upgrade from a 2* to 3* weak foot is a welcome boost, but Power Shot+ isn’t a top-tier PlayStyle, limiting his overall threat. A decent option, but not a must-have.

Danny da Costa's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 84 OVR RB with 3-star skills, showing pace 85, shooting 65, passing 78, dribbling 81, defending 82, physicality 83

Da Costa is a good all-rounder who doesn’t particularly excel in one area but maybe with some evos in the future could become a real standout player.

C-Tier:

These are players who are either too flawed or simply outclassed by other available options. Best used for SBCs.

Peter Crouch's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 87 OVR CAM with 3-star skills, showing pace 78, shooting 88, passing 85, dribbling 90, defending 54, physicality 82

If this promo had dropped last week, he might have been incredible. But with the recent nerf to the Technical+ PlayStyle, his main selling point has lost its magic, dropping him down the pecking order

Guela Doue's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 84 OVR CB with 3-star skills, showing pace 80, shooting 55, passing 76, dribbling 80, defending 82, physicality 84

Has a decent spread of stats but fails to stand out in a competitive field of centre-backs. He’s usable but unlikely to make many top-tier squads.

Alex Berenguer's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 85 OVR CAM with 4-star skills, showing pace 86, shooting 83, passing 85, dribbling 85, defending 70, physicality 73

Berenguer is in the ‘usable but forgettable’ category. He lacks the top-end stats and crucial PlayStyles+ needed to compete at a high level.

Pablo Fornals's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 85 OVR CM with 4-star skills, showing pace 84, shooting 85, passing 84, dribbling 86, defending 78, physicality 77

Just like Berenguer, Fornals is also in the ‘usable but forgettable’ category.

Jorge Campos's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 88 OVR ST with 3-star skills, showing pace 85, shooting 82, passing 78, dribbling 88, defending 70, physicality 81

Despite his high rating, Campos is a novelty card. His small in-game player model makes him ineffective as a striker against strong, physical defenders not to mention his PlayStyle+ for a ST is pretty pointless.

Thomas Muller's FC26 Ultimate Team card - 86 OVR ST with 3-star skills, showing pace 83, shooting 87, passing 86, dribbling 86, defending 60, physicality 75

A huge upgrade from his base card, However, he is ultimately held back by his 3-star skill moves and the lack of a PlayStyle+, which keeps him out in the C tier.
