Investments
Before we get into investments I want to tell you some recommendations on when to sell your players that you have in your club. To start with Meta Players who are 84 and below, I recommend to sell these before Friday, this is because they drop and they don’t really rise again until about the first Weekend League, you can obviously keep them if you want to play games but if you have spare cards in your club it is definitely better to sell before Friday 27th or at the latest before 4PM on Friday. Any SBC Fodder who is 82 plus it all depends on the SBCs that come out, if you are not heavily into trading a lot and don’t need the coins these are safe to keep and should rise when they are needed for SBCs during the OTW Promo and Bundesliga SBC. Any Meta players like Son who are 85 plus they will drop on the 27th however these do rise gradually after because these are still heavily demanded so if you want to keep them they still should do fine.
Also want to say when to buy players, similar to above, I recommend getting cheap meta cards (84 and below) as late as possible this is because they keep on dropping so the longer you wait the better deal you should get. Expensive meta cards (85 and above) you should buy on Friday this is because they will rise after so if you get it around 6PM on Friday it should be the best time to purchase your more expensive players, this includes icon which follow a similar trend.
Lazy Investing
If you want to buy cards and keep them in your club and you don’t have to keep checking on them I recommend TOTWs, you could distribute your coins through Prem TOTWs and the 84 Rated TOTWs, if you spend max about 14k on the 84s and 13k on the Prem investments you should be able to make a lot of coins on them over a period of time.
Low end trading
Whilst Friday is technically the launch day of Fifa 20, it means people are still doing starter SBCs and since EA have made the requirements harder this year with more rares you are limited on who you can use, an example I like is French players like Valbuena and Clichy, who are about 2k right now, this is a perfect time to buy them when lots of packs are being opened and they should reduce in price. If you are at a low end if you can get these type of SBC fodder 1k under what they are going for during the period of packs being opened on Friday it should help you build up some coins.
Mass Bidding
During busy times on Friday a lot of cards will be listed and they will be good deals going on bid, this can be used at any budget. If you find cards suitable to your budget and start bidding on cards 15-20% lower than what they go for, you should be able to pick some up. This is because there is a lot of people listing at once and a high percentage of people don’t change the minimum bid price making it easier to get them on bid for cheap.
Rash investments
During Friday we will be getting Lewandowski POTM SBC, also during OTW we will be getting SBC for a OTW player, Rash investments are very useful to pick up coins at 6PM and is the main way to boost your coins. When SBCs come out if you look at the requirements of the SBCs and see what is needed and think of players who can help with the SBC and go onto the market and get as many as you can at the price they were at when you first searched. Factors that can have an impact on these players are the demand of the SBC, if the card is very good and it is value for coins the players needed will rise. You need to make sure before you invest in cards is to see if the SBC is worth it for what you get back because if the SBC isn’t worth it, the cards won’t go up in price, another factor is the player pool on who you can use, if they make specific requirements and making it limited on who you can use it will affect the market because there is less supply of cards meaning the price will move more. So when you have limited cards available to use and it’s a good value SBC the players will rise the most because the supply and demand is there to make the price rise.
OTW investments
OTW is released on Friday and the team has been announced already, if you are wanting to trade with OTWs it is essential that you keep up to date with the players. For example if they are injured or if they are going to start on the bench or who they are playing. These will all affect the OTW price, I always recommend to buy before Saturday because there is a rise normally on Saturday if they get announced on the team sheet. So if you are prepared in who you think can stand out that week make sure you keep a track on his price and buy before the day of the game. One way that you can reduce the risk is to sell in the preparation of the game when the card slowly rises. If not you can keep throughout the game, if you keep on track how the team is doing and if the player is doing enough to get a TOTW it helps a lot as well to determine whether or not you want to sell, if an attacker scores a tactic is to sell because they will rise in price since there is more demand, if you think that there’s a chance the player won’t score again or won’t get a TOTW this is a good place to sell because you should maximise the coins you get, one good pick up tactic for OTWs is to see if a card is down in price because they just lost to an opponent because obviously have no chance of a TOTW however if you look at the next couple of fixtures and they have a chance to contribute some goals it is definitely worth picking one up if they are down in price.
