FIFA 22 TOTW 13 Investing
Welcome to a new weekly article about investing in current TOTW cards!
In the following weeks, these will be somewhat shorter in comparison to the Clubstocks or Market Outlooks as I’ll just be going over the cards in each weeks new TOTW cards and providing some insight on why I think a certain card is a good long-term or short-term investment. Let’s get into it!
In TOTW 13 I see five main targets for ratings 84 & 86:
Puado 84
<11.500 | Spanish and La Liga links
Vlahović 84
<11.000 | Serie A links and ST
Blas 84
<11.250 | French and Ligue 1 links
Ćaleta-Car 84
<11.000 | Ligue 1 links and CB
Tielemans 86
<19.000 | Premier League links and central position
For 84 rated TOTWs the floor at this current time is pretty much near discard or 1.000 above it. That’s sort of the aim here to get them as close to that minimum price as possible. That also means 0 risk!
Up to this point in the year we haven’t seen TOTW cards fully boom yet but the great thing about these cards is they get a lot more rare week after week after going out of packs and that price gradually goes up over time.
Here’s a few examples:
Damian Suárez | La Liga links/fullbacks have show great rises so far this year
Started out in October at 10.500 and now is on the market at 20.000+
Manuel Locatelli | Italian/Serie A links/central position
Started out in October at 11.000 and recently has reached the 20.000 mark
Kurt Zouma | French/Premier League links/desirable for SBCs in the CB position
Started out in mid-November at 11.000 and now a month later is 16.000
For 86 rated TOTWs the floor at this current time is hovering around the 20.000 mark. They have been lower previously at around 16.000-17.000 but that was a month ago and we have seen the usage of TOTW cards in SBCs increase in recent weeks.
Here’s a few examples:
Luis Alberto | Spanish/Serie A links/central position
Started out in mid-November at 17.000 and now a month later is 30.000
Matthias Ginter | German/Bundesliga links/CB
Started out in late October at 14.000 and now a month later is 28.000
Marcos Acuña | Argentinian/La Liga Links/fullback
Started out in mid-November at 17.000 and now a month later is 27.000
TOTW cards for EA are a great tool that they can use as a way to increase a price of an SBC without requiring a higher rating. In my opinion that will keep happening and even more so over the coming time.
So, with all of this in mind it is now up to you to decide if you’re willing to invest and in what capacity. Just a simple clubstock of one of each card in the club every week or are you taking it a step forward?
