You can find this week’s Part 1 here and remember, if your player isn’t the following team, do not worry! These are just the players that I believe are most likely to get an in form from the Rest of the World Leagues, EA may think differently…

A fairly weak week as far as Rest of the World ‘keepers go, Wolfgang Hesl was named 2.Bundesliga Player of the Week after making some key saves against Aalen and Australian shot stopper Liam Reddy was great for Central Coast Mariners last Thursday as they beat Wellington Phoenix 1-0. Greek centre back Kostas Manolas scored one of Olympiakos’ five as they continued to dominate the Greek Super League, they’ve only conceded six all season! A trio of goal scoring left backs next, Eliaquim Mangala, who is of course usually a centre half, scored Porto’s first goal as they brushed aside Olhanense 4-0, Bart Buysse scored a deflected shot from the edge of the box as Cercle Brugge took all three points from a below par Genk side and Red Bull Salzburg left back, Andreas Ulmer, also scored the only goal of a 1-0 victory; Salzburg sit 11 points clear at the top of the Austrian Bundesliga as they enter the winter break.

Melbourne Victory midfielder Mitch Nichols scored twice and also grabbed an assist in the Melbourne derby, looks to be a very good bronze card to me! Scottish midfielder Barry Robson scored twice for Aberdeen, they were 4-0 up at one point but nearly choked the four goal lead; thankfully for them, they managed to hold out for a 4-3 victory. As ever the Eredivisie was packed full of goals this weekend, central midfielder Lex Immers scored twice for Feyenoord in their 3-1 victory, Hakim Ziyech also scored twice for Heerenveen as they swept aside AZ Alkmaar 5-1, but he also assisted a goal from the prolific Alfred Finnbogason. However, Groningen midfielder Michael de Leeuw went one better than both of them; he was pushed up to striker for their match against NEC and he scored a hattrick including a lovely heel volley which should certainly get him an in form. South Africa’s World Cup hero Siphiwe Tshabalala assisted three goals for Kaizer Chiefs as they won 4-1, a feat repeated by Rotherham’s left midfielder Ben Pringle who also assisted three goals in their thrilling 3-3 draw against Wolves. Mallorca forward Alfaro scored twice, including one from the penalty spot as they beat Girona 2-0 and Pole Waldemar Sobota also scored twice for Club Brugge as they won 3-1.

Former Barcelona player Javier Saviola scored twice in Olympiakos’ aforementioned 5-0 victory, Burak Yilmaz also scored twice for Galatasaray as they beat Trabzonspor 2-1 and Italian target man Andrea Caracciolo had a brilliant game for Brescia in the Italian second division, scoring three times and also getting an assist.

Join me later on this evening where I’ll be showing you the final team!
