fifaRAWR's Team of the Week Predictions: Week 20 - The Final Team
Another pretty solid looking TOTW this week to be honest, it’s only lacking a couple of Premier League players but of course as most/all(?) Premier League teams were on FA Cup duty, the team has a very mainland European theme. 12 out of 18 last week is a good score as far as I’m concerned and lets hope I can continue that form into this week and of course as usual, remember to leave a comment if you have any feedback or suggestions for the team and follow myself and FUTWIZ on twitter!
Gerard Pique scored Barcelona’s first as they cruised to a 3-0 victory over Malaga, taking them to ten straight home wins in La Liga this season. He slamed home his goal shortly before half time and was one of Barcelona’s biggest threats all match, especially from set pieces as he also rattled the post with a header from a corner.
I’ll be honest, this next player is a bit of a punt. Thibaut Courtois did save a penalty and make three other saves in Atletico Madrid’s away victory at Rayo Vallecano, but he did concede twice which could severely dent his chances of getting an IF. Perhaps EA will make up for Courtois being excluded from the FIFPro TOTY shortlist though? We shall see
The Bundesliga has no shortage of good RMs (or LMs, for that matter #FIFA13BANTZ) when it comes to FIFA and that list is about to be added to with the almost certain IF of Jefferson Farfan, the Peruvian scored once and assisted twice for Schalke as they beat struggling Hamburger SV 3-0.
