MLS Team of the Season Tierlist
It’s our second tierlist of the week as we have our FC 25 MLS Team of the Season tierlist. We saw the release of MLS TOTS cards into Ultimate Team, so there are plenty of new items to try out. There’s 11 new TOTS cards as well as three TOTS Highlights items from the MLS.
To showcase the best items, Johnny has created a tier list showing how good the MLS TOTS cards are. Johnny is FUTWIZ’s analyst and coach, so he knows what’s best when it comes to Ultimate Team.
The tier list has four tiers (S, A, B, C) with cards in the S tier being the best and most effective items and cards in the C tier being not as usable or less effective.
Johnny’s Tierlist
S TIER
Messi – 5 star 5 star, Finesse Shot+ and Low Driven Shot+. One of the best players in the game.
Suarez – Finesse Shot+, Low Driven Shot+ and 5 star 5 star. Incredible speed boost, feels great on the ball for a bigger type of player.
A TIER
Benteke – 5 star 5 star, Finesse Shot+ and Trickster regular. If he had Low Driven Shot+ or regular Quick Step I would put him in S tier.
Moreira – Anticipate+, Intercept+ and great regular PlayStyles. His only fault is that he is 5″10 at CB.
Evander – Incisive Pass+, Tiki Taka+ and Rapid+. Not having regular Pinged Pass at CAM is a big problem in my opinion.
Puig – Pinged Pass+, Technical+ and great regular PlayStyles. Just a bit too short for CM, probably better suited to CAM.
B TIER
Forsberg – Low Driven Shot+, Long Ball Pass+ and Rapid+ with nice regular PlayStyles. 4 star weak foot in CAM at this stage of the game is not ideal.
Alba – Tiki Taka+, Rapid+ and Intercept+. Incredible offensive full back, just a bit too small to be trusted in my opinion.
Ragen – Anticipate+, Aerial+ and is 6″6 which always helps. No regular Jockey while being that tall will make him really stiff.
C TIER
Kahlina – Can’t use a goalie without at least regular Far Reach.
Gauld – 4 star weak foot and too small compared to other meta cards.
Guzan – Again, not having regular Far Reach is a red flag.
Orellano – 4 star weak foot and no good shooting PlayStyle+.
Gabriel Pec – No regular passing PlayStyles at all is a red flag. No shooting PlayStyles+ in attack isn’t good enough.
