Player of the Month Prediction — October 2025 (Premier League)

Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
Haaland continued his electric scoring form into October. In the 1–0 win over Brentford on 5 October, he delivered the decisive strike midway through the second half — his ninth league goal of the season and proof that he remains City’s most reliable match-winner. He also scored 2 goals vs Everton in 2-0 win and his goal tally is on 3 goals this month
Let’s be honest – Haaland POTM would be incredibly boring straight after first one, but if he wins – he’d be 92 rated card with some amazing stats and probably new playstyle, even tho Enforcer+ is ultra meta right now
David Raya (Arsenal)
Raya quietly produced one of the best goalkeeping months in the division. Arsenal didn’t concede once and Raya was amazing in every game. We never had a GK winning POTM in Premier League (IIRC), but this one would be sensational.
Raya’s card already good, but his special card might be even better. Potentially 88 rated POTM with some nice stats and not that expensive
Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa)
Rogers’ emergence has been one of October’s pleasant surprises. His long-range equaliser at Tottenham (19 Oct) highlighted his technical ability and composure under pressure. He also created winning assist vs Burnley in 2-1 win.
Villa actually turned their season around, impressively winning 5 on a bounce. Rogers actually improved a lot this month, because in September he wasn’t that good. If not him – maybe Buendia or Cash will be nominated.
Potentially nice card, but we already just had him in Season Pass (many of us, including me, chose Packs instead), so IDK. Potentially 84-86 rated POTM and cheap one.
Bryan Mbeumo (Manchester United)
Mbeumo produced his best football for United in October, starring with two goals in the 4–2 thriller against Brighton and adding an assist in the earlier 2–0 win over Sunderland. Also scored an opening goal at Anfield that brought United’s first victory at that stadium since 2016.
Finally United started playing well and Mbeumo been one of the best producers this month. 3 goals and 1 assist this month, this should secure his POTM and it’d be very close to his Scream Card.
Eli Junior Kroupi (Bournemouth)
Still only 19, Kroupi burst into headlines after scoring twice in the 3–3 draw with Crystal Palace (18 Oct) and again in the 2–0 win over Nottingham Forest (26 Oct). His composure and finishing stood out, especially his ability to find space in crowded penalty areas.
Fantastic signing for Bournemouth, they did it again and found pretty unknown player. Potentially 83 rated cheap POTM with some nice stats.
Igor Thiago (Brentford)
Thiago’s adaptation to English football truly accelerated this month. He opened the scoring in Brentford’s 2–0 win at West Ham and netted again from the penalty spot in the dramatic 3–2 victory over Liverpool.
Brentford had great month and Thiago was one of the reasons for that. 84 POTM would go big, probably they’d give him PS+ too.
My POTM (October 2025) Prediction: Bryan Mbeumo
Mbeumo should win it. United had perfect month, Mbeumo had 3+1, it should be him. If not him – then one of other strikers. But I’d love to see GK winning POTM. Raya would be good option.
