Hello and welcome to the first Serie A article this year in EAFC 26. Should be a good winner, not that expensive and overall exciting one.

September brought drama across Serie A: last-minute goals, breakout stars, and established names proving decisive. Here are seven players who made the strongest case for Player of the Month.

Christian Pulisic (AC Milan)

Pulisic had a blistering month. Against Udinese, he was everywhere — scoring twice and adding an assist in Milan’s 3–0 win. A week later, in the high-stakes clash with Napoli he both scored and assisted, directly shaping a 2–1 win before Milan went down to 10 men. 3 goals and 2 assists should be enough for POTM this time and his potential card is very very good. He already got an IF 86 rated and it should be 87 rated POTM for like 250k or so, because his IF is already 220k.

Mile Svilar (Roma, Goalkeeper)

Svilar has quietly been one of Serie A’s most consistent performers. Roma went unbeaten through September with Svilar recording 4 clean sheets in 5 games, leading the league in that category. Only 1 conceded goal, but overall very impressive performance to continue his last strong season. Would be quite cool to see POTM GK, but I highly doubt, but I can’t ignore him.

Potentially 85 rated GK with some nice stats for like 40k.

Federico Dimarco (Inter Milan)

Dimarco produced one of the goals of the month in Inter’s 2–1 win over Sassuolo, hammering home from range to seal three points. Also got an assist in 2-0 win over Cagliari. Started season quite weak, but improved a lot and it’s nice to see him back to his best.

Potential POTM would be cool 86 rated LB with some nice stats, but shouldn’t be more than 60k to be honest.

Kevin De Bruyne (Napoli)

Hard to include anyone from Napoli as loads of players performed here and there, but KDB is one who scored in 2\3 games. Napoli’s midfield maestro showed his class in September. Against Pisa, he scored a crucial opener and later assisted the clinching goal in a 3–2 win and got 1 goal in 2-1 defeat over Milan. Conte will have some thoughts how to implement him and McTom in one starting 11, but I’m sure he’ll find solution.

His potential 88 POTM would be very nice to have. I always welcome KDB to my Ultimate Team and cheap one doesn’t mean the bad one.

Kelechi Kwadwo Sulemana (Atalanta)

Sulemana provided Atalanta with a new attacking spark. In the 3–0 win vs Torino, he scored and assisted. A week later, in 1-1 draw vs Juve he scored the opener. Should be enough for nominee, pretty good month for Atalanta, undefeated with 2 wins and 1 draw.

Potentially 84 rated card with some nice pace and overall very useful for cheap.

Nico Paz (Como)

Nico Paz’s breakout month with 2 goals and 2 assists. He got 2 assists vs Fiorentina in 2-1 win, got 1 goal in 1-1 draw vs Cremonese and got 1 goal in 1-1 draw Genoa. Despite his heroics Como won only 1 game, but it should be enough for nominee and even potential win.

He just got a nice Promo card, so his potential POTM would be cheap and somewhat similar to it.

My POTM (September) Prediction: Christian Pulisic

It’s hard to look past Pulisic. His goal + assist in a huge match vs Napoli and brace vs Udinese make him the most decisive attacker in Serie A this month.

Still, Nico Paz deserves a shout as the surprise package, Svilar was the best defensive performer, and Sulemana is rising fast. But if the panel goes with impact + volume in marquee matches, Pulisic should take it.
